This Privacy Policy describes how Balance Tracker ("the App") handles your information. The App is designed as a local-only tool to help users track and forecast financial balances using manual entry and CSV imports.

1. Data Collection and Usage

• Financial Data: All financial data, account names, and balance histories you enter or import via CSV are stored locally on your device's internal storage.

• No Server Uploads: We do not operate any external servers. Your data is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with the developer or any third parties.

• Persistence: Data is stored using SharedPreferences and Gson to ensure your records remain available when you close and reopen the App.

2. Permissions Used

• Storage/File Access: The App requests access to your device's file picker only when you explicitly choose to "Import CSV." This is used solely to read the file you select.

3. Data Storage and Deletion

• Local Control: You have full control over your data.

• Manual Deletion: You can delete specific months, date ranges, or the entire database using the "Delete Data" dialog within the App.

• App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored financial records from your device.

4. Third-Party Services

• The App does not contain third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs that collect user behavior data.

5. Security

• Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on your device's security. We recommend using a screen lock or the App’s built-in biometric features to prevent unauthorized access to your device.

6. Children's Privacy

• This App does not knowingly collect any information from children, as no data collection occurs.
